What is Stoney Work Crew?
If you love spending time at camp and you are looking for ways to get involved then you should check out Stoney Work Crew! We are looking for people like you! Stoney Work Crew may be one of the most challenging things you've ever done, but it may also be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life!
Stoney Work Crew is a Camp within a Camp: As a Stoney Work Crew camper you will be involved in your own program, you will not be spending time with the campers who are there during the week. During the course of the 2012 summer there will be four Sessions. We will strive to have eight to ten campers during each Stoney Work Crew Session, evenly split between guys and girls. If you are between the ages of 14 and 16 and you love camp and you want to be challenged Stoney Work Crew might be for you!
What can I expect?
- Hard Work - Stoney Work Crew campers work hard! You will be an indispensable part of the Stoney Camping Experience. Work will take up a large part of your day; you can expect to wash dishes, clean bathrooms and take out garbage. Expect to work hard!
- Lots of Fun - Everyday, there will be time for fun! Wakeboarding, blobbing, rock climbing, swimming and lots of laughs. You will build relationships with your fellow campers that will grow deep over your session. Expect to have a great time
- Spiritual Growth - You will be challenged and stretched in your faith.Through day to day activitie, Leadership Training Units, devotions and Bible Studies you will have opportunity to grow. Expect to grow!
